⁴⁵Just as it was written that the first man, Adam, was made with a living soul, so shall the last Adam be made with a spirit brought back to life.

⁷And then the Lord God formed man from the clay of the earth, and he breathed into his face the breath of life, and man became a living soul.

²⁶And he said: “Let us make Man to our image and likeness. And let him rule over the fish of the sea, and the flying creatures of the air, and the wild beasts, and the entire earth, and every animal that moves on the earth.” ²⁷And God created man to his own image; to the image of God he created him; male and female, he created them.

In hardship shall you eat from it, all the days of your life. ¹⁸Thorns and thistles shall it produce for you, and you shall eat the plants of the earth. ¹⁹By the sweat of your face shall you eat bread, until you return to the earth from which you were taken. For dust you are, and unto dust you shall return.”
