Acceptance of terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of seekabove.com (the "Site"). By visiting, browsing, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
What Seek Above is
Seek Above is a curated library of Christian video content. We organize, link to, and embed videos that are hosted by third-party platforms (primarily YouTube). Seek Above does not own, host, or produce these videos — they belong to their respective creators and channels.
Any study notes, summaries, key points, and timestamps that appear alongside a video are written by Seek Above and the volunteers who contribute to it, and are provided for educational and devotional purposes.
Intellectual property
Embedded videos remain the property of their original creators and rights-holders. We do not claim any rights in their work. The Site's name, branding, design, and original written content (notes, summaries, copy, illustrations) are © Seek Above and are made available for personal, non-commercial use.
If you are a creator and would like a video removed from the Site, please email us at [email protected] and we will act in good faith to address your request.
Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- Use the Site to violate any law or regulation, or to infringe the rights of others.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, its servers, or related systems.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site, or interfere with its normal operation.
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically download large portions of the Site for redistribution.
- Misrepresent yourself, impersonate others, or use the Site to harass, defame, or harm others.
Third-party content and links
The Site embeds and links to content hosted on third-party platforms. We do not control that content and are not responsible for its accuracy, opinions, advertising, or availability. Any ads you see in embedded videos are run by the host platform (such as YouTube) and benefit the original content creators — Seek Above does not run, sell, or profit from those ads.
Your use of any third-party platform is governed by that platform's own terms and privacy policies.
No warranty
The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any content (including study notes) is complete, accurate, or up to date.
Seek Above is intended as a starting point for prayer, study, and conversation — not as a substitute for Scripture, personal discernment, or the guidance of your local church community.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seek Above and its volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Changes to the Site and these Terms
We may add, change, or remove parts of the Site at any time, and we may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
