1Unto the end. A Psalm of David. The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They were corrupted, and they have become abominable in their studies. There is no one who does good; there is not even one.

18having their intellect obscured, being alienated from the life of God, through the ignorance that is within them, because of the blindness of their hearts. 19Such as these, despairing, have given themselves over to sexual immorality, carrying out every impurity with rapacity.

14But the animal nature of man does not perceive these things that are of the Spirit of God. For it is foolishness to him, and he is not able to understand it, because it must be examined spiritually.

22So then, flee from the desires of your youth, yet truly, pursue justice, faith, hope, charity, and peace, along with those who call upon the Lord from a pure heart. 23But avoid foolish and undisciplined questions, for you know that these produce strife. 24For the servant of the Lord must not be contentious, but instead he must be meek toward everyone, teachable, patient, 25correcting with self-restraint those who resist the truth. For at any time God may give them repentance, so as to recognize the truth, 26and then they may recover from the snares of the devil, by whom they are held captive at his will.

1Now the Spirit has clearly said that, in the end times, some persons will depart from the faith, paying attention to spirits of error and the doctrines of devils, 2speaking lies in hypocrisy, and having their consciences seared, 3prohibiting marriage, abstaining from foods, which God has created to be accepted with thanksgiving by the faithful and by those who have understood the truth. 4For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected which is received with thanksgiving; 5for it has been sanctified by the Word of God and by prayer.

7In truth, ask the mules, and they will teach you, and the birds of the sky, and they will reveal to you. 8Speak with the earth, and it will respond to you, and the fish of the sea will explain. 9Who is ignorant that the hand of the Lord has made all these things? 10In his hand is the soul of all the living and the spirit of all the flesh of mankind. 11Does not the ear perceive words, and the palate, when eating, perceive flavor? 12In old age is wisdom, and in length of days is prudence.

8See to it that no one deceives you through philosophy and empty falsehoods, as found in the traditions of men, in accord with the influences of the world, and not in accord with Christ.

8But the fearful, and the unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and drug users, and idolaters, and all liars, these shall be a part of the pool burning with fire and sulphur, which is the second death.”
