48But responding to the one speaking to him, he said, “Which one is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49And extending his hand to his disciples, he said: “Behold: my mother and my brothers. 50For anyone who does the will of my Father, who is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.”

20If anyone says that he loves God, but hates his brother, then he is a liar. For he who does not love his brother, whom he does see, in what way can he love God, whom he does not see?

1You should not rebuke an old man, but rather plead with him, as if he were your father; with young men, like brothers; 2with old women, like mothers; with young women, in all chastity, like sisters.
