¹⁴Yet truly, Jesus said to them: “Allow the little children to come to me, and do not choose to prohibit them. For the kingdom of heaven is among such as these.”

⁹For if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and if you believe in your heart that God has raised him up from the dead, you shall be saved.

³⁹For the Promise is for you and for your sons, and for all who are far away: for whomever the Lord our God will have called.”

³¹So they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and then you will be saved, with your household.”

¹⁴For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through the believing wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through the believing husband. Otherwise, your children would be unclean, whereas instead they are holy.

²³For all have sinned and all are in need of the glory of God.

⁶The proverb is: A youth is close to his way; even when he is old, he will not withdraw from it.

¹In that hour, the disciples drew near to Jesus, saying, “Whom do you consider to be greater in the kingdom of heaven?” ²And Jesus, calling to himself a little child, placed him in their midst. ³And he said: “Amen I say to you, unless you change and become like little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. ⁴Therefore, whoever will have humbled himself like this little child, such a one is greater in the kingdom of heaven. ⁵And whoever shall accept one such little child in my name, accepts me. ⁶But whoever will have led astray one of these little ones, who trust in me, it would be better for him to have a great millstone hung around his neck, and to be submerged in the depths of the sea.

¹My little sons, this I write to you, so that you may not sin. But if anyone has sinned, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the Just One.

⁷For behold, I was conceived in iniquities, and in sinfulness did my mother conceive me.

²³For the wages of sin is death. But the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

⁹If we confess our sins, then he is faithful and just, so as to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all iniquity.

¹⁶For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that all who believe in him may not perish, but may have eternal life.

¹²And there is no salvation in any other. For there is no other name under heaven given to men, by which it is necessary for us to be saved.”

⁶Jesus said to him: “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

¹²Concerning the rest, I am speaking, not the Lord. If any brother has an unbelieving wife, and she consents to live with him, he should not divorce her. ¹³And if any woman has an unbelieving husband, and he consents to live with her, she should not divorce her husband. ¹⁴For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through the believing wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through the believing husband. Otherwise, your children would be unclean, whereas instead they are holy. ¹⁵But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart. For a brother or sister cannot be made subject to servitude in this way. For God has called us to peace.

²⁴He who spares the rod hates his son. But he who loves him urgently instructs him.
