²All nations, clap your hands. Shout joyfully to God with a voice of exultation.

⁸The rivers will clap their hands, the mountains will exult together,

⁶For thus says the Lord God: Because you have clapped your hands and stomped your foot, and have rejoiced with all your heart against the land of Israel,

Shout joyfully to God with a voice of exultation. ³For the Lord is exalted and terrible: a great King over all the earth. ⁴He has subjected the peoples to us and subdued the nations under our feet. ⁵He has chosen us for his inheritance: the splendor of Jacob, whom he has loved. ⁶God ascends with jubilation, and the Lord with the voice of the trumpet. ⁷Sing psalms to our God, sing psalms. Sing psalms to our King, sing psalms.

¹²For you will go forth rejoicing, and you will be led forward in peace. The mountains and the hills will sing praise before you, and all the trees of the countryside will clap their hands.

²³He will clasp his hands over himself, and he will hiss at himself, while considering his situation.

¹Alleluia. Praise the Lord in his holy places. Praise him in the firmament of his power. ²Praise him for his virtues. Praise him according to the multitude of his greatness. ³Praise him with the sound of the trumpet. Praise him with psaltery and stringed instrument. ⁴Praise him with timbrel and choir. Praise him with strings and organ. ⁵Praise him with sweet-sounding cymbals. Praise him with cymbals of jubilation. ⁶Let every spirit praise the Lord. Alleluia.

³⁷For he adds blasphemy on top of his sins; nevertheless, let him be constrained to be among us, and then let him provoke God to judgment with his speeches.

¹⁹Your destruction is not hidden; your wound is grievous. All who have heard of your fame have clenched their hands over you, because over whom has your wickedness not trampled continually?

³Let them praise his name in chorus. Let them sing psalms to him with the timbrel and the psaltery.

¹²And he led forth the son of the king. And he placed the diadem on him, and the testimony. And they made him king, and they anointed him. And clapping their hands, they said: “The king lives!”

⁸Therefore, I want men to pray in every place, lifting up pure hands, without anger or dissension.

¹⁵SAMECH. All those who passed by the way have clapped their hands over you. They have hissed and shook their heads over the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, “Is this the city of perfect dignity, the joy of all the earth?”

²In the nights, lift up your hands in sanctity, and bless the Lord.

²Let my prayer be guided like incense in your sight: the lifting up of my hands, like the evening sacrifice.

The sons of my mother have fought against me. They have made me the keeper of the vineyards. My own vineyard I have not kept. ⁶Bride to Groom: Reveal to me, you whom my soul loves, where you pasture, where you recline at midday, lest I begin to wander after the flocks of your companions.

¹Thus says the Lord to my anointed Cyrus, whose right hand I hold, so that I may subjugate the nations before his face, and I may turn the backs of kings, and I may open the doors before him, and so that the gates will not be shut. ²I will go before you. And I will humble the glorious ones of the earth. I will shatter the gates of brass, and I will break apart the bars of iron. ³And I will give you hidden treasures and the knowledge of secret things, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who calls your name. ⁴For the sake of Jacob, my servant, and Israel, my elect, I have even called you by your name. I have taken you up, and you have not known me. ⁵I am the Lord, and there is no one else. There is no god beside me. I girded you, and you have not known me. ⁶So may those who are from the rising of the sun, and those who are from its setting, know that there is no one beside me. I am the Lord, and there is no other.

¹⁶Let the word of Christ live in you in abundance, with all wisdom, teaching and correcting one another, with psalms, hymns, and spiritual canticles, singing to God with the grace in your hearts.
