12This is my precept: that you love one another, just as I have loved you. 13No one has a greater love than this: that he lay down his life for his friends. 14You are my friends, if you do what I instruct you.

7Most beloved, let us love one another. For love is of God. And everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8Whoever does not love, does not know God. For God is love. 9The love of God was made apparent to us in this way: that God sent his only-begotten Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10In this is love: not as if we had loved God, but that he first loved us, and so he sent his Son as a propitiation for our sins. 11Most beloved, if God has so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12No one has ever seen God. But if we love one another, God abides in us, and his love is perfected in us.

25not deserting our assembly, as some are accustomed to do, but consoling one another, and even more so as you see that the day is approaching.

24And let us be considerate of one another, so as to prompt ourselves to charity and to good works, 25not deserting our assembly, as some are accustomed to do, but consoling one another, and even more so as you see that the day is approaching.

26What is next, brothers? When you gather together, each one of you may have a psalm, or a doctrine, or a revelation, or a language, or an interpretation, but let everything be done for edification.

16Be of the same mind toward one another: not savoring what is exalted, but consenting in humility. Do not choose to seem wise to yourself.

10And so, I beg you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that every one of you speak in the same way, and that there be no schisms among you. So may you become perfect, with the same mind and with the same judgment.

31Behold, the days are approaching, says the Lord, when I will form a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, 32not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers, in the day when I took them by the hand, so as to lead them away from the land of Egypt, the covenant which they nullified, though I was the ruler over them, says the Lord. 33But this will be the covenant that I will form with the house of Israel, after those days, says the Lord: I will give my law to their inner most being, and I will write it upon their heart. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34And they will no longer teach, a man his neighbor, and a man his brother, saying: ‘Know the Lord.’ For all will know me, from the littlest of them even to the greatest, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will no longer remember their sin.
