29It is he who gives strength to the weary, and it is he who increases fortitude and strength in those who are failing.

And you shall be built up, O virgin of Israel. Still shall you be adorned with your timbrels, and still shall you go forth to the singing of those who play. 5Still shall you plant vineyards on the mountains of Samaria. The planters will plant, and they will not gather the vintage until the time arrives. 6For there will be a day on which the guardians on mount Ephraim will cry out: ‘Arise! And let us ascend on Zion to the Lord our God!’ ”

4For whatever was written, was written to teach us, so that, through patience and the consolation of the Scriptures, we might have hope.

11And the Lord will give you rest continually, and he will fill your soul with splendor, and he will free your bones, and you will be like a watered garden and like a fountain of water whose waters will not fail.

12Because of this, lift up your lazy hands and your lax knees, 13and straighten the path of your feet, so that no one, being lame, may wander astray, but instead may be healed.

16For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that all who believe in him may not perish, but may have eternal life.
