¹⁵Abandoning the straight path, they wandered astray, having followed the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved the wages of iniquity.

⁶Let no one seduce you with empty words. For because of these things, the wrath of God was sent upon the sons of unbelief. ⁷Therefore, do not choose to become participants with them. ⁸For you were darkness, in times past, but now you are light, in the Lord. So then, walk as sons of the light. ⁹For the fruit of the light is in all goodness and justice and truth, ¹⁰affirming what is well-pleasing to God. ¹¹And so, have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead, refute them.

¹⁶For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that all who believe in him may not perish, but may have eternal life.

¹The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to him, in order to make known to his servants the things that must soon occur, and which he signified by sending his Angel to his servant John;

¹Most beloved, do not be willing to believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are of God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world.

¹⁶For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that all who believe in him may not perish, but may have eternal life. ¹⁷For God did not send his Son into the world, in order to judge the world, but in order that the world may be saved through him.

⁶Jesus said to him: “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

¹³If any man has slept with a male in place of sexual intercourse with a female, both have committed a nefarious act, they shall die a death. So let their blood be upon them.

⁸Whoever does not love, does not know God. For God is love.

²And do not choose to be conformed to this age, but instead choose to be reformed in the newness of your mind, so that you may demonstrate what is the will of God: what is good, and what is well-pleasing, and what is perfect.

¹³Everything is possible in him who has strengthened me.

¹In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and God was the Word.

⁷Cast all your cares upon him, for he takes care of you.

¹⁶For I am not ashamed of the Gospel. For it is the power of God unto salvation for all believers, the Jew first, and the Greek.

¹Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not apparent.

⁹Behold, I am instructing you. Be strengthened, and be steadfast. Do not dread, and do not fear. For the Lord your God is with you in all things, wherever you may go.”

⁷For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of virtue, and of love, and of self-restraint.

⁶Be anxious about nothing. But in all things, with prayer and supplication, with acts of thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God.

¹⁰Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not turn away, for I am your God. I have strengthened you, and I have assisted you, and the right hand of my just one has upheld you.

¹²This is my precept: that you love one another, just as I have loved you.

³⁷For no word will be impossible with God.”

²⁰I live; yet now, it is not I, but truly Christ, who lives in me. And though I live now in the flesh, I live in the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and who delivered himself for me.

¹³No one has a greater love than this: that he lay down his life for his friends.

¹¹For I know the thoughts that I think over you, says the Lord: thoughts of peace and not of affliction, so that I may give you patience and an end.

³²And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.”

⁴Praise him with timbrel and choir. Praise him with strings and organ.

²⁰And so Miriam, the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took up a timbrel in her hand. And all the women followed her with timbrels and dancing.

³Now the scribes and Pharisees brought forward a woman caught in adultery, and they stood her in front of them.

¹If I were to speak in the language of men, or of Angels, yet not have charity, I would be like a clanging bell or a crashing cymbal. ²And if I have prophecy, and learn every mystery, and obtain all knowledge, and possess all faith, so that I could move mountains, yet not have charity, then I am nothing. ³And if I distribute all my goods in order to feed the poor, and if I hand over my body to be burned, yet not have charity, it offers me nothing. ⁴Charity is patient, is kind. Charity does not envy, does not act wrongly, is not inflated. ⁵Charity is not ambitious, does not seek for itself, is not provoked to anger, devises no evil. ⁶Charity does not rejoice over iniquity, but rejoices in truth.

¹The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord in the days of Jehoiakim, the son of Josiah, the king of Judah, saying: ²“Go to the house of the Rechabites, and speak to them, and lead them into the house of the Lord, into one of the halls of the treasuries. And you shall give them wine to drink.” ³And so I took Jaazaniah, the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habazziniah, and his brothers, and all his sons, and the entire house of the Rechabites, ⁴and I led them into the house of the Lord, to the treasury of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was near the treasury of the princes, above the storehouse of Maaseiah, the son of Shallum, who was the guardian of the entrance. ⁵And I placed before the sons of the house of the Rechabites bowls filled with wine, and chalices. And I said to them, “Drink wine.” ⁶And they responded: “We will not drink wine. For Jonadab, the son of Rechab, our father, instructed us, saying: ‘You shall not drink wine, you and your sons, in perpetuity.

¹³For the Promise to Abraham, and to his posterity, that he would inherit the world, was not through the law, but through the justice of faith.

¹Then, after these things, Jesus was walking in Galilee. For he was not willing to walk in Judea, because the Jews were seeking to kill him.

¹⁴And no wonder, for even Satan presents himself as if he were an Angel of light.

²⁹I wish that someone would set this people under my hand, so that I might take away Abimelech from their midst.” And it was told to Abimelech, “Gather the multitude of an army, and approach.”

³¹For you are all able to prophesy one at a time, so that all may learn and all may be encouraged.

¹But Jesus continued on to the Mount of Olives. ²And early in the morning, he went again to the temple; and all the people came to him. And sitting down, he taught them. ³Now the scribes and Pharisees brought forward a woman caught in adultery, and they stood her in front of them. ⁴And they said to him: “Teacher, this woman was just now caught in adultery. ⁵And in the law, Moses commanded us to stone such a one. Therefore, what do you say?” ⁶But they were saying this to test him, so that they might be able to accuse him. Then Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the earth.

¹⁶Grief and unhappiness are in their ways.
