²Most beloved, concerning everything, I make it my prayer that you may benefit by advancing and succeeding in whatever may be to the benefit of your soul.

¹⁷Now these signs will accompany those who believe. In my name, they shall cast out demons. They will speak in new languages. ¹⁸They will take up serpents, and, if they drink anything deadly, it will not harm them. They shall lay their hands upon the sick, and they will be well.”

¹⁰And so, Toi sent his son Joram to king David, so that he might greet him with congratulations, and give thanks, because he had fought against Hadadezer and had struck him down. For indeed, Toi was the enemy of Hadadezer. And in his hand were vessels of gold, and vessels of silver, and vessels of brass.

¹⁷in order to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah, saying, “He took our infirmities, and he carried away our diseases.”

¹⁶Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be saved. For the unremitting prayer of a just person prevails over many things.

¹⁵And a prayer of faith will save the infirm, and the Lord will alleviate him. And if he has sins, these will be forgiven him.

²⁴He himself bore our sins in his body upon the tree, so that we, having died to sin, would live for justice. By his wounds, you have been healed.

³He heals the contrite of heart, and he binds up their sorrows.

⁵But he himself was wounded because of our iniquities. He was bruised because of our wickedness. The discipline of our peace was upon him. And by his wounds, we are healed.

²⁵And you shall serve the Lord your God, so that I may bless your bread and your waters, and so that I may take away sickness from your midst.

²²A joyful soul makes a lifetime flourish. A gloomy spirit dries out the bones.

¹⁹And may my God fulfill all your desires, according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

³He forgives all your iniquities. He heals all your infirmities.

²⁶saying: “If you will listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in his sight, and obey his commands, and keep all his precepts, I will not bring upon you any of the distress that I imposed on Egypt. For I am the Lord, your healer.”

²⁰He sent his word, and he healed them, and he rescued them from their utter destruction.

¹⁷I will not die, but I will live. And I will declare the works of the Lord.

⁷Do not seem wise to yourself. Fear God, and withdraw from evil. ⁸Certainly, it shall be health to your navel, and refreshment to your bones.

⁸Then your light will break forth like the morning, and your health will improve quickly, and your justice will go before your face, and the glory of the Lord will gather you up.

¹³Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, since he became a curse for us. For it is written: “Cursed is anyone who hangs from a tree.”

²⁴Careful words are a honeycomb: sweet to the soul and healthful to the bones.

¹⁴and if my people, over whom my name has been invoked, being converted, will have petitioned me and sought my face, and will have done penance for their wicked ways, then I will heed them from heaven, and I will forgive their sins, and I will heal their land.

¹³And Jesus said to the centurion, “Go, and just as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And the servant was healed at that very hour.

¹³Everything is possible in him who has strengthened me.

¹⁴Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed. Save me, and I will be saved. For you are my praise.

¹The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me. He has sent me to bring good news to the meek, so as to heal the contrite of heart, to preach leniency to captives and release to the confined, ²and so to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of vindication of our God: to console all who are mourning, ³to take up the mourners of Zion and to give them a crown in place of ashes, an oil of joy in place of mourning, a cloak of praise in place of a spirit of grief. And there, they shall be called the strong ones of justice, the planting of the Lord, unto glorification.

²²“Convert, O rebellious sons! And I will heal your rebelliousness.” “Behold, we are returning to you. For you are the Lord our God!

¹The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me. He has sent me to bring good news to the meek, so as to heal the contrite of heart, to preach leniency to captives and release to the confined, ²and so to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of vindication of our God: to console all who are mourning, ³to take up the mourners of Zion and to give them a crown in place of ashes, an oil of joy in place of mourning, a cloak of praise in place of a spirit of grief. And there, they shall be called the strong ones of justice, the planting of the Lord, unto glorification. ⁴And they will rebuild the deserted places of past ages, and they will raise up the ruins of antiquity, and they will repair the desolate cities, which had been dissipated for generation after generation.

³O Lord my God, I have cried out to you, and you have healed me.

³⁹See that I am alone, and there is no other god beside me. I will kill, and I will cause to live. I will strike, and I will heal. And there is no one who is able to rescue from my hand.

¹To David himself. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and bless his holy name, all that is within me. ²Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget all his recompenses. ³He forgives all your iniquities. He heals all your infirmities. ⁴He redeems your life from destruction. He crowns you with mercy and compassion. ⁵He satisfies your desire with good things. Your youth will be renewed like that of the eagle.

³Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am weak. Heal me, Lord, for my bones have become disturbed,

²⁰My son, pay attention to my sermons, and incline your ear to my eloquent words. ²¹Let them not recede from your eyes. Keep them in the midst of your heart. ²²For they are life to those who find them and health to all that is flesh.

¹⁷For I will close up your scar, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord. For they have called you an outcast, O Zion: ‘This is she who has no one asking for her.’ ”

⁴Assur will not save us; we will not ride on horses. Neither will we say any more, ‘The works of our hands are our gods,’ for those that are in you will have mercy on the orphan.”

¹In their tribulation, they will arise early to me. Come, let us return to the Lord.

⁶Behold, I will lead over them scars and health, and I will cure them. And I will reveal to them an invocation of peace and truth.
