⁶No man shall approach her who is a close blood-relative to him, so as to uncover her nakedness. I am the Lord.

¹Above all else, it is being said that there is fornication among you, even fornication of a such kind that is not among the Gentiles, so that someone would have the wife of his father.

¹²Yet, in another way, she is also truly my sister, the daughter of my father, and not the daughter of my mother, and I took her as a wife.

⁶No man shall approach her who is a close blood-relative to him, so as to uncover her nakedness. I am the Lord. ⁷You shall not expose the nakedness of your father, or the nakedness of your mother. She is your mother; you shall not uncover her nakedness. ⁸You shall not expose the nakedness of your father’s wife; for it is the nakedness of your father. ⁹You shall not uncover the nakedness of your sister, whether from father or from mother, whether she was born at home or abroad. ¹⁰You shall not uncover the nakedness of your son’s daughter, or your daughter’s daughter; for it is your own nakedness. ¹¹You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife’s daughter, whom she bore to your father, and who is your sister.

²⁰Cursed be he who lies with his father’s wife, and so exposes the covering of his bed. And all the people shall say: Amen.

²²Cursed be he who lies with his sister, the daughter of his father, or of his mother. And all the people shall say: Amen.

²²And when he was living in that region, Reuben went out, and he slept with Bilhah the concubine of his father, which was not such a small matter as to be hidden from him. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve.

²³Cursed be he who lies with his mother-in-law. And all the people shall say: Amen.

⁸You shall not expose the nakedness of your father’s wife; for it is the nakedness of your father.

²⁰Now Amram took as a wife Jochebed, his paternal aunt, who bore for him Aaron and Moses. And the years of the life of Amram were one hundred and thirty-seven.

⁴You are being poured out like water, may you not increase. For you climbed onto your father’s bed, and you defiled his resting place.

¹⁷Whoever will have taken his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother, and will have seen her nakedness, and she will have looked upon her brother’s shame, they have committed a nefarious act. They shall be slain in the sight of their people, because they have uncovered one another’s nakedness. And they shall bear their iniquity.

³⁰No man shall take his father’s wife, nor remove her covering.”

¹¹Whoever will have slept with his stepmother, or will have uncovered the shame of his father, they shall both die a death. So let their blood be upon them.

¹⁷You shall not uncover the nakedness of your wife and her daughter. You shall not take her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter, so as to uncover her dishonor; for they are her flesh, and such sexual intercourse is incest.

⁷You shall not expose the nakedness of your father, or the nakedness of your mother. She is your mother; you shall not uncover her nakedness.

¹⁰You shall not uncover the nakedness of your son’s daughter, or your daughter’s daughter; for it is your own nakedness.

¹And the two Angels arrived at Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting at the gate of the city. And when he had seen them, he rose up and went to meet them. And he reverenced prone on the ground. ²And he said: “I beg you, my lords, turn aside to the house of your servant, and lodge there. Wash your feet, and in the morning you will advance on your way.” And they said, “Not at all. But we will lodge in the street.” ³He pressed them very much to turn aside to him. And when they had entered his house, he made a feast for them, and he cooked unleavened bread, and they ate. ⁴But before they went to bed, the men of the city surrounded the house, from boys to old men, all the people together. ⁵And they called out to Lot, and they said to him: “Where are the men who entered to you in the night? Bring them out here, so that we may know them.” ⁶Lot went out to them, and blocking the door behind him, he said:

²¹Whoever will have married his brother’s wife has done an unlawful thing; he has uncovered his brother’s nakedness. They shall be without children.

¹⁸You shall not take your wife’s sister as a rival mistress; nor shall you uncover her nakedness, while your wife is still living.

⁹You shall not uncover the nakedness of your sister, whether from father or from mother, whether she was born at home or abroad.

⁷They grind the heads of the poor into the dust of the earth, and they divert the way of the humble. And the son, as well as his father, have gone to the same girl, so that they outrage my holy name.

¹²You shall not expose the nakedness of your father’s sister; for she is the flesh of your father.

¹⁷For Herod himself had sent to capture John, and had chained him in prison, because of Herodias, the wife of his brother Philip; for he had married her.

²¹And Ahithophel said to Absalom: “Enter to the concubines of your father, whom he left behind in order to care for the house. Thus, when all of Israel will hear that you disgraced your father, their hands may be strengthened with you.”
