³⁶Therefore, be merciful, just as your Father is also merciful.

¹³For judgment is without mercy toward him who has not shown mercy. But mercy exalts itself above judgment.

⁷Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

¹⁶Therefore, let us go forth with confidence toward the throne of grace, so that we may obtain mercy, and find grace, in a helpful time.

¹³So then, go out and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the just, but sinners.”

³Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy has regenerated us into a living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead:

⁹If we confess our sins, then he is faithful and just, so as to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all iniquity.

⁸I will reveal to you, O man, what is good, and what the Lord requires from you, and how to act with judgment, and to love mercy, and to walk carefully with your God.

²²HETH. By the mercies of the Lord, we are not consumed. For his compassion has not passed away. ²³HETH. I know it at first light; great is your faithfulness.

⁶And your mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and so may I dwell in the house of the Lord for length of days.

¹To David himself. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and bless his holy name, all that is within me. ²Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget all his recompenses. ³He forgives all your iniquities. He heals all your infirmities. ⁴He redeems your life from destruction. He crowns you with mercy and compassion. ⁵He satisfies your desire with good things. Your youth will be renewed like that of the eagle. ⁶The Lord accomplishes mercies, and his judgment is for all who patiently endure injuries.

³⁶Therefore, be merciful, just as your Father is also merciful. ³⁷Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
