12Therefore, all things whatsoever that you wish that men would do to you, do so also to them. For this is the law and the prophets.

18Do not seek revenge, neither should you be mindful of the injury of your fellow citizens. You shall love your friend as yourself. I am the Lord.

8So if you perfect the regal law, according to the Scriptures, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” then you do well.
