26And similarly, the Spirit also helps our weakness. For we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself asks on our behalf with ineffable sighing. 27And he who examines hearts knows what the Spirit seeks, because he asks on behalf of the saints in accordance with God.

22By so much, Jesus has been made the sponsor of a better testament. 23And certainly, so many of the others became priests because, due to death, they were prohibited from continuing. 24But this man, because he continues forever, has an everlasting priesthood. 25And for this reason, he is able, continuously, to save those who approach God through him, since he is ever alive to make intercession on our behalf.

10And I fell down before his feet, to adore him. And he said to me: “Be careful not to do so. I am your fellow servant, and I am among your brothers, who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Adore God. For the testimony of Jesus is a spirit of prophecy.”

6Jesus said to him: “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

38Then Mary said: “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. Let it be done to me according to your word.” And the Angel departed from her.

46While he was still speaking to the crowds, behold, his mother and his brothers were standing outside, seeking to speak with him. 47And someone said to him: “Behold, your mother and your brothers are standing outside, seeking you.” 48But responding to the one speaking to him, he said, “Which one is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49And extending his hand to his disciples, he said: “Behold: my mother and my brothers. 50For anyone who does the will of my Father, who is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.”

1Most beloved, do not be willing to believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are of God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world.

12And there is no salvation in any other. For there is no other name under heaven given to men, by which it is necessary for us to be saved.”

14All these were persevering with one accord in prayer with the women, and with Mary, the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

18The sons gather the wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the wives spread the grease, so as to make cakes to the queen of heaven and to offer libations to strange gods, and so as to provoke me to anger.
