reconciliation

³²And be kind and merciful to one another, forgiving one another, just as God has forgiven you in Christ.

¹⁸But all is of God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ, and who has given us the ministry of reconciliation.

¹⁰For if we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, while we were still enemies, all the more so, having been reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.

¹⁵But if your brother has sinned against you, go and correct him, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you will have regained your brother. ¹⁶But if he will not listen you, invite with you one or two more, so that every word may stand by the mouth of two or three witnesses. ¹⁷And if he will not listen to them, tell the Church. But if he will not listen to the Church, let him be to you like the pagan and the tax collector.

¹⁸But all is of God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ, and who has given us the ministry of reconciliation. ¹⁹For certainly God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not charging them with their sins. And he has placed in us the Word of reconciliation. ²⁰Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, so that God is exhorting through us. We beseech you for Christ: be reconciled to God. ²¹For God made him who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the justice of God in him.

²³Therefore, if you offer your gift at the altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you, ²⁴leave your gift there, before the altar, and go first to be reconciled to your brother, and then you may approach and offer your gift. ²⁵Be reconciled with your adversary quickly, while you are still on the way with him, lest perhaps the adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you will be thrown in prison. ²⁶Amen I say to you, that you shall not go forth from there, until you have repaid the last quarter.

¹⁴Pursue peace with everyone. Pursue sanctity, without which no one shall see God.

²⁰and that, through him, all things be reconciled to himself, making peace through the blood of his cross, for the things that are on earth, as well as the things that are in heaven.

³Be attentive to yourselves. If your brother has sinned against you, correct him. And if he has repented, forgive him.

³⁴Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them. For they know not what they do.” And truly, dividing his garments, they cast lots.

¹³Support one another, and, if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive one another. For just as the Lord has forgiven you, so also must you do.
