16For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that all who believe in him may not perish, but may have eternal life.

18Whoever believes in him is not judged. But whoever does not believe is already judged, because he does not believe in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.

6Jesus said to him: “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

19Therefore, you would say: The branches were broken off, so that I might be grafted on. 20Well enough. They were broken off because of unbelief. But you stand on faith. So do not choose to savor what is exalted, but instead be afraid. 21For if God has not spared the natural branches, perhaps also he might not spare you. 22So then, notice the goodness and the severity of God. Certainly, toward those who have fallen, there is severity; but toward you, there is the goodness of God, if you remain in goodness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off.

6But without faith, it is impossible to please God. For whoever approaches God must believe that he exists, and that he rewards those who seek him.

9The Lord is not delaying his promise, as some imagine, but he does act patiently for your sake, not wanting anyone to perish, but wanting all to be turned back to penance.

8For by grace, you have been saved through faith. And this is not of yourselves, for it is a gift of God. 9And this is not of works, so that no one may glory. 10For we are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for the good works which God has prepared and in which we should walk.

44No one is able to come to me, unless the Father, who has sent me, has drawn him. And I will raise him up on the last day.

60He said these things when he was teaching in the synagogue at Capernaum. 61Therefore, many of his disciples, upon hearing this, said: “This saying is difficult,” and, “Who is able to listen to it?” 62But Jesus, knowing within himself that his disciples were murmuring about this, said to them: “Does this offend you? 63Then what if you were to see the Son of man ascending to where he was before? 64It is the Spirit who gives life. The flesh does not offer anything of benefit. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.

55Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. 56For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 57Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. 58Just as the living Father has sent me and I live because of the Father, so also whoever eats me, the same shall live because of me. 59This is the bread that descends from heaven. It is not like the manna that your fathers ate, for they died. Whoever eats this bread shall live forever.”
