¹⁵But sanctify Christ the Lord in your hearts, being always ready to give an explanation to all who ask you the reason for that hope which is in you.

¹⁶So then, let your light shine in the sight of men, so that they may see your good works, and may glorify your Father, who is in heaven.

¹⁵And he said to them: “Go forth to the whole world and preach the Gospel to every creature. ¹⁶Whoever will have believed and been baptized will be saved. Yet truly, whoever will not have believed will be condemned.

⁶Let your speech be ever graceful, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to respond to each person.

¹⁶For I am not ashamed of the Gospel. For it is the power of God unto salvation for all believers, the Jew first, and the Greek.

⁸But you shall receive the power of the Holy Spirit, passing over you, and you shall be witnesses for me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth.”

¹⁸And Jesus, drawing near, spoke to them, saying: “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. ¹⁹Therefore, go forth and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰teaching them to observe all that I have ever commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, even to the consummation of the age.”

¹⁵And he said to them: “Go forth to the whole world and preach the Gospel to every creature.

¹⁰You are my witnesses, says the Lord, and you are my servant, whom I have chosen, so that you may know, and may believe in me, and so that you may understand that I am the same. Before me, there was no god formed, and after me there will be none.

¹⁷For God did not send his Son into the world, in order to judge the world, but in order that the world may be saved through him.

¹⁴Then in what way will those who have not believed in him call upon him? Or in what way will those who have not heard of him believe in him? And in what way will they hear of him without preaching?

¹³So may the God of hope fill you with every joy and with peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope and in the virtue of the Holy Spirit.

¹⁹Therefore, go forth and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰teaching them to observe all that I have ever commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, even to the consummation of the age.”

²²To the weak, I became weak, so that I might gain the weak. To all, I became all, so that I might save all.

¹⁶For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that all who believe in him may not perish, but may have eternal life. ¹⁷For God did not send his Son into the world, in order to judge the world, but in order that the world may be saved through him. ¹⁸Whoever believes in him is not judged. But whoever does not believe is already judged, because he does not believe in the name of the only-begotten Son of God. ¹⁹And this is the judgment: that the Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness more than light. For their works were evil. ²⁰For everyone who does evil hates the Light and does not go toward the Light, so that his works may not be corrected.

⁴⁶And he said to them: “For so it is written, and so it was necessary, for the Christ to suffer and to rise up from the dead on the third day, ⁴⁷and, in his name, for repentance and the remission of sins to be preached, among all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem. ⁴⁸And you are witnesses of these things. ⁴⁹And I am sending the Promise of my Father upon you. But you must stay in the city, until such time as you are clothed with power from on high.”

⁹And so, let us not be deficient in doing good. For in due time, we shall reap without fail.
