6For you will hear of battles and rumors of battles. Take care not to be disturbed. For these things must be, but the end is not so soon. 7For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be pestilences, and famines, and earthquakes in places.

36And so, be vigilant, praying at all times, so that you may be held worthy to escape from all these things, which are in the future, and to stand before the Son of man.”

And the devil, who seduced them, was cast into the pool of fire and sulphur, 10where both the beast and the false prophetess shall be tortured, day and night, forever and ever.

21For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until the present, and such as will not be. 22And unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days shall be shortened.

16For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that all who believe in him may not perish, but may have eternal life.
