14And do everything without murmuring or hesitation. 15So may you be without blame, simple sons of God, without reproof, in the midst of a depraved and perverse nation, among whom you shine like lights in the world,

12Whoever reproves the wise and obedient ear is like an earring of gold with a shining pearl. 13Just like the cold of snow in a time of harvest, so also is a faithful messenger to him who sent him: he causes his soul to rest.

1Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is just. 2Honor your father and your mother. This is the first commandment with a promise: 3so that it may be well with you, and so that you may have a long life upon the earth.

10Who shall find a strong woman? Far away, and from the furthest parts, is her price. 11The heart of her husband confides in her, and he will not be deprived of spoils. 12She will repay him with good, and not evil, all the days of her life. 13She has sought wool and flax, and she has worked these by the counsel of her hands. 14She has become like a merchant’s ship, bringing her bread from far away. 15And she has risen in the night, and given a prey to her household, and provisions to her maids.

10Whoever is faithful in what is least, is also faithful in what is greater. And whoever is unjust in what is small, is also unjust in what is greater.

12Honor your father and your mother, so that you may have a long life upon the land, which the Lord your God will give to you.

11to choose work that allows you to be tranquil, and to carry out your business and to do your work with your own hands, just as we have instructed you, 12and to walk honestly with those who are outside, and to desire nothing belonging to another.

4So let each one prove his own work. And in this way, he shall have glory in himself only, and not in another. 5For each one shall carry his own burden.

8But if anyone has no concern for his own, and especially for those of his own household, he has denied the faith, and he is worse than an unbeliever.
