1Most beloved, do not be willing to believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are of God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world.
14But solid food is for those who are mature, for those who, by practice, have sharpened their mind, so as to discern good from evil.
9And this I pray: that your charity may abound more and more, with knowledge and with all understanding, 10so that you may be confirmed in what is better, in order that you may be sincere and without offense on the day of Christ:
