17And whenever it takes hold of him, it throws him down, and he foams and gnashes with his teeth, and he becomes unconscious. And I asked your disciples to cast him out, and they could not.” 18And answering them, he said: “O unbelieving generation, how long must I be with you? How long shall I endure you? Bring him to me.” 19And they brought him. And when he had seen him, immediately the spirit disturbed him. And having been thrown to the ground, he rolled around foaming. 20And he questioned his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” But he said: “From infancy. 21And often it casts him into fire or into water, in order to destroy him. But if you are able to do anything, help us and take pity on us.” 22But Jesus said to him, “If you are able to believe: all things are possible to one who believes.”
14And when he had arrived at the multitude, a man approached him, falling to his knees before him, saying: “Lord, take pity on my son, for he is an epileptic, and he suffers harm. For he frequently falls into fire, and often also into water. 15And I brought him to your disciples, but they were not able to cure him.” 16Then Jesus responded by saying: “What an unbelieving and perverse generation! How long shall I be with you? How long shall I endure you? Bring him here to me.” 17And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon went out of him, and the boy was cured from that hour. 18Then the disciples approached Jesus privately and said, “Why were we unable to cast him out?” 19Jesus said to them: “Because of your unbelief. Amen I say to you, certainly, if you will have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it shall move. And nothing will be impossible for you.
15And I brought him to your disciples, but they were not able to cure him.”
42And as he was approaching him, the demon threw him down and convulsed him.
24And reports of him went out to all of Syria, and they brought to him all those who had maladies, those who were in the grasp of various sicknesses and torments, and those who were in the hold of demons, and the mentally ill, and paralytics. And he cured them.
25And crying out, and convulsing him greatly, he departed from him. And he became like one who is dead, so much so that many said, “He is dead.”
