7Therefore, be patient, brothers, until the advent of the Lord. Consider that the farmer anticipates the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently, until he receives the early and the late rains. 8Therefore, you too should be patient and should strengthen your hearts. For the advent of the Lord draws near.

7Be subject to the Lord and pray to him. Do not choose to compete with him who prospers in his way, with the man who does injustice.

2with all humility and meekness, with patience, supporting one another in charity. 3Be anxious to preserve the unity of the Spirit within the bonds of peace.

31But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will take up wings like eagles. They will run and not struggle. They will walk and not tire.
