⁸I will reveal to you, O man, what is good, and what the Lord requires from you, and how to act with judgment, and to love mercy, and to walk carefully with your God.

⁸Concerning the rest, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is chaste, whatever is just, whatever is holy, whatever is worthy to be loved, whatever is of good repute, if there is any virtue, if there is any praiseworthy discipline: meditate on these.

⁹If we confess our sins, then he is faithful and just, so as to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all iniquity.

¹¹And some of you were like this. But you have been absolved, but you have been sanctified, but you have been justified: all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

¹⁷So if anyone is a new creature in Christ, what is old has passed away. Behold, all things have been made new.

²⁸And we know that, for those who love God, all things work together unto good, for those who, in accordance with his purpose, are called to be saints.

²⁰I live; yet now, it is not I, but truly Christ, who lives in me. And though I live now in the flesh, I live in the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and who delivered himself for me.

⁴The works of God are perfect, and all his ways are judgments. God is faithful and without any iniquity. He is just and upright.

³and singing the canticle of Moses, the servant of God, and the canticle of the Lamb, saying: “Great and wondrous are your works, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of all ages.

¹⁶And the Lord of hosts will be exalted in judgment, and the holy God will be sanctified in justice.

¹⁸My little sons, let us not love in words only, but in works and in truth.

¹⁷Learn to do good. Seek judgment, support the oppressed, judge for the orphan, defend the widow.

¹⁴And above all these things have charity, which is the bond of perfection.
