24And let us be considerate of one another, so as to prompt ourselves to charity and to good works, 25not deserting our assembly, as some are accustomed to do, but consoling one another, and even more so as you see that the day is approaching.

10loving one another with fraternal charity, surpassing one another in honor: 11in solicitude, not lazy; in spirit, fervent; serving the Lord; 12in hope, rejoicing; in tribulation, enduring; in prayer, ever-willing; 13in the difficulties of the saints, sharing; in hospitality, attentive.

49And extending his hand to his disciples, he said: “Behold: my mother and my brothers. 50For anyone who does the will of my Father, who is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.”

7Most beloved, let us love one another. For love is of God. And everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

42Now they were persevering in the doctrine of the Apostles, and in the communion of the breaking of the bread, and in the prayers. 43And fear developed in every soul. Also, many miracles and signs were accomplished by the Apostles in Jerusalem. And there was a great awe in everyone. 44And then all who believed were together, and they held all things in common. 45They were selling their possessions and belongings, and dividing them to all, just as any of them had need. 46Also, they continued, daily, to be of one accord in the temple and to break bread among the houses; and they took their meals with exultation and simplicity of heart, 47praising God greatly, and holding favor with all the people. And every day, the Lord increased those who were being saved among them.

19Now, therefore, you are no longer visitors and new arrivals. Instead, you are citizens among the saints in the household of God,

16Let the word of Christ live in you in abundance, with all wisdom, teaching and correcting one another, with psalms, hymns, and spiritual canticles, singing to God with the grace in your hearts.

7But if we walk in the light, just as he also is in the light, then we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

34I give you a new commandment: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, so also must you love one another. 35By this, all shall recognize that you are my disciples: if you will have love for one another.”

1See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we would be called, and would become, the sons of God. Because of this, the world does not know us, for it did not know him. 2Most beloved, we are now the sons of God. But what we shall be then has not yet appeared. We know that when he does appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3And everyone who holds this hope in him, keeps himself holy, just as he also is holy. 4Everyone who commits a sin, also commits iniquity. For sin is iniquity. 5And you know that he appeared in order that he might take away our sins. For in him there is no sin. 6Everyone who abides in him does not sin. For whoever sins has not seen him, and has not known him.
